My Soap Opera trailer follows a murder storyline, with elements of jealousy and romance which are conventional to the soap opera genre. I have included an edgy rock tune in order to create a feel of drama and tension in the trailer. There is a snese of chaos and confusion to my trailer as this hints towards the storyline without giving too much away, meaning the audience is more likely to want to watch the soap opera to find out what is going on. The jealous, angry character wears dark colours to signify danger and death and to signify that she is bad. Effects such as sepia are used to show something as a memory and give it a confused and muddled feel, whereas black and white is used on the jealous chareacter to show dark thoughts.Title date and other significant text are used to keep the trailer conventional, along with fast editing, which matches the dramatic nature of the storyline.
